Here’s the notes from our meeting last Thursday!
We discussed the MLK Day January 16, 2012 project and are looking to piggy-back with the CRC’s theme of childhood wellness, anti-obesity, and physical activity. At the urging Points of Light Institute, we’ll reach out to our local Food Corps volunteers and see if we can partner with them for a service project.
Kate M. will renew the Community TV Network membership, and if anyone relishes being in front of the camera, let me know, since they will run promos for our programs any time. I’ve done it through my work and it’s very non-threatening (assuming you don’t automatically turn beet red in the vicinity of a video camera).
We discussed having a monthly networking meeting at Dimillo’s (free happy hour buffet!) on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, which next month is January 21st. I’ll let you know if that comes through.
