As part of National AmeriCorps Week, AmeriCorps Alums is launching the “AmeriCorps Works” photo project!
In “AmeriCorps Works,” photographer Greta Rybus showcases the impact of national service program AmeriCorps in Maine. AmeriCorps Alumni are featured showing how AmeriCorps has worked for them, from uniting couples to advancing careers to finding a home in the state of Maine. Through the project, AmeriCorps Alums hopes to promote national service while highlighting the specific effects in Maine communities.
The show will be displayed at Blue in the month of March. Please join us at 650 Congress Street on Friday, March 2nd at 5:30pm for the show’s opening during the First Friday Art Walk.
If you would like to participate in the project remotely, please email kate.mccarty@americorpsalums.org for details. We would love to see the power of national service in Maine represented. Thanks!
